[Washington, DC – May 17, 2007] Univision Washington will once again partner with Six Flags America to celebrate Father’s Day at the annual family-oriented musical extravaganza- Latin America Day in Largo, Maryland. This year’s event, which has become a tradition for the metropolitan Hispanic community, will take place on Sunday, June 17, 2007 from 12pm to 6pm.
During past years, WFDC Univision Washington has brought record breaking attendance to the Latin American Day, winning awards such as the 2000 Best Television Promotion and the 2001 Best Television Partner Awards. This year Radio Universal 1460 AM-WKDV will be covering the entire event live. The entertainment will include merengue from Mala Fe and 24K, who are sure to bring in the crowd! The audience will enjoy tropical music from Baby Swings and La Kimi –K. There will also be performances by Mariachi Aguila and our local band Zeniza.
